Il volume analizza lo studio delle partnership sociali promosse da soggetti di terzo settore: esse rappresentano interessanti mode in the emerging organizational configurations that offer answers to social needs by providing assistance and services to people. The partnership, connecting actors public, private and third sector in a joint action that would not be achievable by individual stakeholders, can provide answers to the complexity of the social demand focused on performance equally balanced in terms of relational complexity. The establishment of social partnership can be the start of a virtuous cycle that leads to the achievement of best practices in services: in this process, the subjects of the third sector can play a crucial role. Analysis shows that the mature forms of the third sector are those able to establish stable and cooperative relations with other social partners, agreeing to experiment with language, ways of acting and other than its own symbolic codes, to withstand the challenge of complexity and, where possible, transform it into a resource for the social contexts of belonging.
